Toddler Activity | Cozy Coupe Car Wash

Toddler Activity Cozy Coupe Car Wash

Hey friends! Need an activity to do outside on a hot summer day? Try a Cozy Coupe Car Wash. Easy prep with hours of fun and you probably have all of the supplies.

Also, this is water activity, so your kids clothes WILL get wet. We ended up changing to swimsuits halfway through.

Grab these 4 things:

  • Little Tykes Cozy Coupe (bike, scooter, truly any outside ride on toy will do. Or try all of them like we did.)

  • Dawn Dish Soap

  • Bucket (We used 3)

  • Sponges

Optional: (but can add to the fun and amount of time the kids continue to play)

  • Water shooters (We have found these at both Target and the Dollar Tree)

  • Additional Buckets

  • Rags/Towels

  • A reachable hose

First I grabbed two buckets and pumped about 3 pumps of Dawn Dish Soap into the bottom of each bucket. (I grabbed two because I have two kids, but it never hurts to make more initially, so you don't have to continue to fill up buckets.)

Then I went to the hose and filled both buckets with water. Which created soapy bubbly water in both.

I put sponges in both of the buckets and let the kids clean their Cozy Coupe, scooter and bike with the sponges.

I also grabbed a bigger 5 gallon bucket and filled it will hose water (no soap). The kids used this to rinse off the cars with the water shooters.

Both of my toddlers washed our ride on toys for over an hour and then decided that they wanted to drive their wet cars in their swimsuits. They also had fun dumping over the buckets when they were done and splashing in the puddle it made. Overall, they played for a total of 2 hours. I definitely considered it a mom win!!

Such a fun and easy activity with very little prep! And trust me, your kids will think it is incredibly fun!

I'd love to hear if you gave it a try or if you have any other ideas that might make it more fun next time. Drop a comment below. I look forward to hearing your experiences!

Xoxo,

Ally
